Warning: Obnoxious mother bragging begins.
She has a new found love for clapping. The girl claps with the best of them and daddy always says she's gotta get 'em in. She'll pick up some food and then clap a few times and clap in the tub, clap as she's falling asleep, basically she just claps anywhere and always. She just LOVES to clap! You can even ask her to clap and she will. She's so smart:)
Also I can't remember the last time I've changed a poopy diaper...sorry to get all gross on you...but seriously. She has been pooping on the potty for MONTHS now. It's very helpful that she only goes once a day and it's right away in the morning, but still.
We call Adam a lot during the day and when she hears his voice she will immediately say "dada". Once again...so smart:)
Ok...bragging's over.
We headed up to Barrie a couple weeks ago and Hannah and Izzy were dedicated there. It was such a nice weekend visiting with family and friends.
When we were there we also went to my mom's grave along with Susie's bench and brought Isabel. It was the first time she's ever been there. For me it felt like it was two worlds colliding. Like this life that I had known before that always brought me tears was now coming into contact with this new little life that brings me so much joy. It meant a lot for me to have her sitting on that bench in Susie's memory and honor. And to sit and watch daddy plant flowers at a grave for a woman that means so much to her but she'll never know. It was special and so hard all at the same time.
