In flight

My goodness, i feel like I've had so much to blog about but just haven't gotten around to doing it. Last weekend we went to Ohio for Adam's dad's 60th birthday. Our coming was a suprise so he was a little confused when he saw Adam and I getting out of the car and the first thing he said was "Where's Iz??" I think we're getting more and more use to being moved to a secondary position...Isabel first..parents second. Anyway, it was her first flight and she did great. We came to the conclusion that she looks a lot like daddy (yah yah..i know) but her personality is all me (oh great)! I'm not sure if i like that part though...i knew myself as a teenager and i really could go without all that 'tude!:) The people sitting around us were smiling and paying attention to her every once in a while, so she stayed content the whole time. On the way home she didnt have the entire plane trying to make her smile, so mommy and daddy had to work a little harder for the contentment. She had such a great weekend though! She stayed happy and fun to be around almost the whole time despite being woken up early from basically every nap, staying up late and being passed around to everyone and anyone. She was a big hit at the birthday party too..i think she took a little too much attention away from the birthday guy too! (but i'm not convinced he minded) Here's a little video from a couple nights ago. She's at the grabbing stage and as she approaches 6 months she very interested in anything we're eating or drinking. So we've been letting her have a little bit of water from our glasses.
