My little Iz

We've got a lot going on in our house (obviously) with a infant and a toddler but things are good.
I heard a funny quote a couple days ago saying that 2 year olds are like pregnant women, they can be laughing hysterically and crying their eyes out all in a matter of seconds. Couldn't be truer in our house. Izzy is such a sweet little girl most of the time and has so many joyful moments but then at any time she can switch and be the opposite and it makes me shake my head and wonder where that came from.
She's growing up way too fast and it's making us feel old that we have a 2 year old now!
Here's a little update on our fun and crazy big girl:
- She is now officially toilet trained (almost at night too)
-We tried to give her a big girl bed, but she quickly lost that privledge due to waking up freakishly early and coming out a hundred thousand times when we would put her to bed. I'm happy to report that the second we put the side back up, she went to bed like normal and wasn't even phased.
-You should hear her talk. She basically narrates our lives. And can count up to 12:) Still working on the colors though. Every color is pink or green.
- 2 nights ago Izzy had her last night with her paci. The next day we took it to the shops and she tentatively placed it in the garbage bin to recieve a really cool new toy. There were some(ok, heaps!) of tears when we came home when it became naptime and sadly there was no nap that day. But going to bed and nap time yesterday have been getting easier. Praise the Lord!
-She's in gymnastics and loves it. Although i think i love it more than she does. I keep imagining her as being this olympic gymnist and sadly i dont think that is going to be her calling. She likes it and calls it "mmmnastics".
-Izzy absolutely loves her sister! And Myla loves her. It's so cute! Although Izzy lately has been a little too rough with her, she's still learning that she can't treat her like her other friends and wants to test out Myla's toughness. It's not going that well:S We're working on it though:)
